In 2015, Mr. Burrows litigated a custody matter which redefined the role of social media in New York custody battles. Mr. Burrows and his client used evidence gathered from their opponent’s Facebook page to prove that she traveled away from the couple’s son frequently. This case was the first of its kind in New York, and Mr. Burrow’s victory set a precedent for using content found on social media pages as evidence.
